Gurjot Singh is currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in the J. W. Bagley College of Engineering at Mississippi State University. He is working under the direction of Dr. J. Edward Swan II.
Currently, Gurjot Singh is conducting research in perceptual issues in augmented reality. Specifically, He is studying user distance perception in near-field augmented environments. He is also studying the x-ray implementation of augmented reality.
His research interests include Augmented and Virtual Reality, Vision, Perception, Information and Scientific Visualization, Human-Computer Interaction, Eye-Tracking, User Studies, and Empirical Methods.
